A fenced soda-lake sanctuary famed for flamingo flocks and thriving black and white rhino populations beneath Baboon Cliff's escarpments.

Lake Nakuru National Park centers on a shallow soda lake once famed for drawing vast flocks of lesser flamingos, whose numbers still gather here in fluctuating seasons alongside pelicans and dozens of other waterbirds. Fully fenced for conservation, the park is also one of Kenya's premier rhino sanctuaries, protecting substantial populations of both black and white rhino. Acacia woodland and rocky escarpments such as Baboon Cliff frame the lake, rewarding visitors with sweeping views and reliable sightings of lion, leopard, and Rothschild's giraffe.
