A word from us

A small Namibian house, built to keep going.

Kenakare was founded in 2020 in Windhoek, born from a simple idea — that Namibia is best shown by the people who grew up in it. Our name means 'keep going' in Oshiwambo, and it has guided how we work ever since.

What began as a small, personal way of planning trips has grown into a full-service safari and tour operation, but the approach hasn't changed. Every itinerary is still built by hand, around the traveller in front of us.

We are proudly registered with the Namibia Tourism Board, and operate as a fully licensed booking provider and tour operator — so every journey we plan is backed by the accreditation it deserves.

Women-led, locally-rooted

Founded and run from Windhoek by Namibian women. Our drivers, guides and field staff all live in the regions we travel.

Hand-written itineraries

No two trips repeat. We design every journey to your pace — including the days off.

Conservancy partnerships

We work directly with twelve community conservancies. A flat share of every booking returns to them.

Carbon-aware routing

We calculate the emissions of every leg and offset through Namibia-based reforestation.

Most of our travellers write to us six to nine months ahead. We reply to every enquiry personally, within a working day.
