A granite wilderness near Bulawayo, famed for San rock art, on-foot rhino tracking and Cecil Rhodes' grave at World's View.

South of Bulawayo, the Matobo Hills rise as a two-billion-year-old maze of balancing granite boulders, whaleback dwalas and wooded valleys, revered by the Ndebele and San alike. The hills shelter one of the world's richest concentrations of San rock art, painted over thousands of years, and a sanctuary where both black and white rhino can be tracked on foot. At World's View, Cecil Rhodes lies buried among the boulders he once called 'the view of the world.'
