Namibia Beyond the Dunes is a 10-day luxury journey created in partnership with travel blogger and foodie Poornima Ajayan, designed for travellers who want to see Namibia's most spectacular landscapes and have authentic experiences along the way. The adventure begins in Windhoek, then heads deep into the Namib Desert. There, travellers watch the sunrise light up the colossal red dunes of Sossusvlei and the ghostly, surreal landscape of Deadvlei.
From the desert, the route reaches Swakopmund, where the Namib meets the Atlantic. A thrilling 4x4 excursion to Sandwich Harbour shows towering dunes plunging straight into the sea, a haven for coastal wildlife. Inland, the granite peaks of Spitzkoppe, the "Matterhorn of Namibia," rise from the ancient desert floor beneath vast starlit skies. In Damaraland, travellers explore Twyfelfontein's UNESCO-listed San rock engravings and set out to track the country's rare desert-adapted elephants.
The journey then turns to Etosha National Park, where game drives across the salt pans reveal abundant wildlife gathering at the waterholes. In the greener bushveld around Otjiwarongo, the focus shifts to conservation, especially the protection of Africa's big cats.
